Our Services
Our Home Care Services
Faithful Works Homecare offers non-medical in-home care to enhance comfort, independence, companionship, and daily living. Services may be tailored to fit the individual client’s schedule, tastes, and family requirements.
Personal Care Assistance
With our personal care, we enable our clients to maintain their dignity and comfort, while also providing support for everyday activities in a respectful way. Caregivers can provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, reminders for hygiene issues, going to the toilet, support for moving from the floor to the bed and other general safety supervision. The objective is for clients to have a feeling of independence while feeling clean, confident and supported.
Companion Care
Companion care is for clients who would like to be able to chat, to be emotionally supported, socially engaged and have some sort of day to day meaningful connection. Wellness check-ins, recreation, appointment accompaniment, reading, games, walks, and supporting conversation can be provided by caregivers. This service helps decrease loneliness and fosters a more active lifestyle.
Homemaker Services
Homemakers services are for maintaining the home comfortable, well-organized and under control. Light housekeeping, laundry/linens, meal preparation, grocery shopping, errands, and household organization are all included in support. These services can come in particularly handy for those clients who wish to stay at home but would benefit from the assistance with daily activities.
Respite Care
Respite care provides family caregivers with reliable, short-term support, ensuring their loved ones receive professional supervision while they take necessary personal time. The service could be set up for a few hours or overnight companion care or for short term support, as required by the family. For the families, respite care has the potential to relieve caregiver burnout and give them the opportunity to get rest, work, travel, or engage in appointments with peace of mind.
Recovery Assistance
Recovery assistance is non-medical assistance to the client after an illness, surgery, or a stay at hospital upon return to their home. Caregivers can help with daily activities, simple tasks around the house, comfort, reminding them to move around, meal preparation, and companionship. Skilled nursing, medical monitoring, therapy, and treatment are not provided in this service. This can make the recovery period in the home much calmer and comfortable.
Young Adult Support Services
Adult support services are for the needs of people who when they are in the transition to adulthood may require assistance with routine, lifestyle arrangements, day to day living, co-ordinating access to transport, reminding them of their responsibilities, and supporting them in continuing with their independent living skills. Emphasis is placed on developing practical support strategies that are respectful, enabling young adults to achieve a structure and confidence of independence in their day to day life.
Meal Preparation
The goal of meal preparation support is to support the client to create consistent meal times and to enjoy a simple, comforting meal at home. Based on the clients’ needs and directions, the caregiver can help with setting up, preparing, serving, and clean up after meals. This is non-medical assistance and not a substitute for medical or clinical nutrition services.
